Full Aniline Leather

Aniline leather is leather that has had no surface treatment, or very little, and thus retains the natural appearance and very soft surface of the leather. With aniline leather, a certain amount of natural marks may be expected in the form of healed wounds, insect bites, scars etc., which contribute to its exclusive appearance.
The untreated or only lightly treated surface of aniline leather allows the leather to breathe, resulting in very high seating comfort.
Aniline leather is susceptible to staining and will eventually darken and create a patina. This merely makes the leather more exclusive.
Only hides from the best sorting level are used for aniline leather – here it is possible to see hair follicles in the grain.

Please note that the colours and grain shown are for guidance only. The actual hide may differ in grain and colour from the picture shown.

Semi-Aniline Leather

Semi aniline leather is a full grain leather that has been given a very light surface finish to make the leather more durable and more resistant to fading than pure aniline leather.

The leather is still extremely soft and flexible, with very high seating comfort.

100% Pure Wool

Our wool is supplied by Abraham Moons. Founded in 1837 they are one of the last remaining vertical woollen mills in Great Britain, with a reputation for consistent quality and innovative design.

Wool fabric is strong, hard-wearing, and naturally flame-retardant. It makes the perfect upholstery material, and soft furnishings. Many wools also have a natural coating on their surface which repels liquid, giving you time to mop up any spills that may occur.
